I have another possible solution that I had heard about from tightwad tech
(education focus):
http://www.pxserver.com/WinAudit.htm
I haven't used the program and got the link from this specific podcast link:
http://www.thetightwadtech.com/podcast/?p=episode&name=2010-05-26_tightwad_tech__episode_4.mp3
I was looking for an opensource PC imaging tool and the fog project is
highlighted on the episode. Sounds good just haven't had a chance to try it out
yet.
You may find some other interesting tools as well.
Thanks!
Craig

Subject: [itdiscuss] network inventory
I know this has come up before, but I wanted to check on any new products. I am
currently using Asset Tracker for Networks which is a great program, but I still
have to create in Visio to have a physical picture of the network. What network
inventory programs do you use? What do you think of Spiceworks
