We've always found it good to use a commercial service for this. At the January CITRT meeting Chris Kehayias<mailto:ck at calvaryccm.com> was describing his streaming services. Unless I'm mistaken, they are using Amazon's EC2 service<http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/>'s Flash media service which can be sourced from the free Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder<http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/flashmediaencoder/>.
The rates<http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/pricing/> are very reasonable.

Subject: [itdiscuss] Streaming Server
At my church we are looking for a streaming server that isn't too costly and doesn't take a programming to get it up and running. We need it to broadcast services to home bound members. If at all possible, it would good if it was Windows based and I'd love it if it was open-source. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bill Lloyd
