Bill:
We've got one iPhone user synching via ActiveSync and had no issues.
We've still got our BES server in place, but I see a future where
ActiveSync is used as much or (possibly) more, as more devices like
iPhone and Droid come into the fold.

Have any of you changed from a BlackBerry to either the iPhone or the
Droid? If so, did you find that ActiveSync worked as well as the BES
server?

When we had a self-signed certificate we had SSL errors pop up on Droids
but it would still sync. Once we got a Trusted Certificate from third
party it cleared up the error messages. Other than that we have had no
problems at all.

I've read somewhere that for the Droid, at least, there is a problem
with the Exchange security settings. Have you heard that?

Droid and iPhone are both push and the arrival of email on both is
pretty much instantaneous.

data from Exchange. Many folks went with the BlackBerry because the BES
server allowed data to be "pushed instantly". Have things changed so
that if you have a Droid or an iPhone, data can be pushed instead of
pulled? Is there any delay in receiving data? Do you need something
like BES to make it happen?
