Hi ITs:

I am trying to implement video conferencing as a tool that the pastoral and
administrative staff can utilize for remote off site meetings. This would
save a lot of time, money and make the feel of being at a meeting more
realistic than three or four way calling. I have been researching some of
the videoconferencing tools out there and so far I've read good reviews on a
few of them .Below is a list of the top recommendations from people on line:

However in addition to the recommendations above, I value the unbiased
recommendations of people in this group who are using video conferencing
tools. You are not being paid by companies to push your products.
[?]Therefore can someone please recommend a FREE video conferencing
software or
webware that in your experience is excellent and you would highly recommend.
I am thinking at least conferencing between 3 -5 individuals, with maybe
room for more, and possibly application and file sharing. Although not
critical additional features that would be nice are text messaging, pc-to-pc
phone calls, and maybe pc-to-phone calls. I've had Skype but it consumed a
lot of my memory and my entire system ran slowly. Furthermore, I've read
that Skype can expose your computer's firewall. Thanks so much for your help
in advance. It is greatly appreciated
