Does the $3,000 include support?  What is the annual support cost?  Three ESX Servers is a good place to start.  Is the VirtualCenter only limitation supporting three ESX Servers?  The VirtualCenter is a nice full featured system for monitoring and managing the datacenter.  I think I'll also take a closer look at this.  Can  you post a URL for this?
